Letters of Fear & Love is a collection that asks what lies beneath the choices we make when confronted by the two most fundamental forces: fear and love. Through poetry, prose, and personal letters, Aguiñaga writes to remember and to remind: that our fears are woven from the same material as our love. With radical vulnerability, she invites us to explore how these variables shape our lives—how fear has taught us to protect ourselves, and how love demands we risk that safety for something more. 

A nonlinear collection, the work moves the way memory does—circling back, pressing deeper, refusing resolution. Aguiñaga examines how fear and love have shaped her: the cycles inherited, the patterns repeated, and the slow work of unlearning both.

This is not a book of answers. It is a record of one woman's unfolding—beginning where all seeds must: in the dark. Tender and unflinching, Aguiñaga dares to breach that darkness, to reach beyond herself, and to use all she finds to grow.

INTERIOR CASTLES

Building on the philosophical foundations of Letters of Fear & Love, Interior Castles is a nonlinear investigation into love. Relinquishing love as an ideal or abstraction, it explores it as a living mechanism that shapes how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world.

Through storytelling, poetic introspection, and philosophical inquiry, Aguiñaga traces her 15-year friendship with Kaila, whose love became the conduit for her investigation into trauma, attachment, survival, and love. Together, they excavate the conditions that enable love, the forces that obstruct it, and the variables by which we define it. Rather than attempting to define love, Interior Castles asks: By what were our definitions of love shaped, and how are those definitions unconsciously shaping our relationships, our choices, and our lives?

Ultimately, Interior Castles explores survival, attachment, and conditioning as foundational to the architecture of our interior worlds. Rather than asking readers to adopt her philosophy, Aguiñaga invites them to investigate the architecture of their own interior world and use what they find to redefine love for themselves.

ANTI-SUPREMACY

Building on the philosophical foundations of Interior Castles, Anti-Supremacy investigates how the same mechanisms that organize our interior worlds come to organize our collective ones. If survival, attachment, and conditioning shape the way we define love, how do those same forces give rise to domination, extraction, hierarchy, and supremacy?

 

Anti-supremacy is a philosophical investigation of the human conditions that enable supremacy to arise. It then investigates supremacy's pattern of manifestation across material, social, and psychological realms. Finally, it explores methodologies for transcending and transmuting the conditions of supremacy to engender cooperation, generosity, altruism, and communal consideration in individuals, communities, organizations, and systemic design. It encompasses the simultaneous processes of:
 

  1. Identifying, healing, and/or supplanting the interior human conditions which enable the oppressive and dominative beliefs which constitute supremacism and give rise to its fractal behavioral and material manifestations;

  2. Identifying, opposing, and eradicating any system which, for its function, requires and/or incentivizes an oppressor;

  3. Supplanting those oppressive systems with systems that have an immune system against and disincentive oppressive and dominative behaviors;

  4. Realizing equitable mental, emotional, and material reparations for any deficit endured as a result of the privileges and benefits derived from supremacist systems; and

  5. Disproving any philosophy that claims an objective, binary hierarchy of superior and inferior among any group or category.​

This a transdisciplinary theory in its nascent form, the foundation of which is in active development alongside a framework for its practical use for organizational transformation. I'm actively seeking collaborators in the disciplines of critical race and social theory, biology, psychology, economics, governance, trauma specialists, and more.
