fear of

in a new class

being the

bottom rung

realizing the reality

of your privilege

its infinite

unspoken bounty

perpetuates oppression

keeps the inevitable at bay

made them carry the weight

of your weakness

so you wouldn't have

and yet

in all your privilege

you stay chained

to your weakness

chains heavier

than those you oppress

because you choose

your chains

like jewelry

obstructing liberty

and so you too

never realize

your fullest self

you see it now

don't you?
